Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood is a children's television show on PBS Kids created by Angela Santomero. It follows Daniel Tiger, a young boy who goes to school in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and explores the world around him with his friends. The show has over 10 million viewers every week. In the show, Daniel and his friends explore the world around them through games. There are no lessons or problems that need to be solved. It is meant to simply be entertaining for children. The show was created with parents in mind and was envisioned as having a "family-friendly feel." The show's goal is to help children build stronger bonds with their parents. The toys and games include stuffed animals and plush toys. There are currently seven stuffed animals including a cat named Katerina Kittycat, an owl named Oliver Owl, an elephant named Elefun Elephant, a monkey named Monique Monkey, a robot named Robear Robear, a raccoon named Roo Corgi, and a jaguar named Jaxy Jaguar. There are currently 12 different plush toys including Mr. Stripes the tiger, Boober the bear, Tippy Toes the penguin, Rosita the rabbit, Mr. Sun the sun, Icy Ice the polar bear, Mr. Cool the frog, Omar & Oscar the zebras, Scruffy Cat & Fluffy Cat the kittens, and Ducky Daddles the duckling.
